At Menorca Yacht Brokers, we offer a wide range of services related to the purchase, sale, and rental of yachts, including marine inspections and valuations. Below, we detail our rates and conditions for each of the services we offer.
1. Yacht Brokerage Services
Yacht Sale and Purchase:
- 5% commission on the sale price.
- Minimum commission of €2,000 for transactions below €40,000.
- Commission payment is made at the closing of the transaction.
Yacht Rental and Charter:
- 10% commission on the rental price.
- Specific conditions for long-term rentals (more than 30 days).

5. General Conditions
Payment Methods
We accept payments by bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. Payments must be made before the delivery of final reports.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, 50% of the agreed rate will be charged.
Validity and Guarantees
Rates are subject to annual changes according to market price review.
At Menorca Brokers, we follow international regulations recognized by BIMCO (Baltic and International Maritime Council) to ensure that all our agreements are clear, fair, and transparent.
1. Ship Broker Commissions
Standard Commission:
The usual commission is 1.25% to 2.5% of the gross freight, vessel sale price, or charter contract value.
Commission Payment:
- Charter: Upon collection of first freight or contract start.
- Vessel Sales: After MOA signing and vessel delivery.
- Renewals and Extensions: Additional commission as per prior agreement.
2. Ship Broker Responsibilities
Intermediation
We act as an impartial intermediary between parties, facilitating negotiation.
Confidentiality
We maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information.
3. Charterer Commissions
Charter Commission:
Varies between 1% to 2% of the total agreed charter value.
Additional Income Compensation:
Additional compensation in case of contract renewal or modification.
4. Charterer Responsibilities
Negotiation and Chartering
The Charterer is responsible for negotiating contract terms and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Contract Compliance
Ensure compliance with established conditions and manage potential disputes.
Contract Conditions
Fundamental aspects governing our commercial agreements.
Contract Duration
Valid until the completion of the commercial agreement, unless another term is established.
Exclusivity
Can be established according to the terms agreed in each particular case.
Modifications
Any modification must be agreed in writing between the parties.
